Acceptable Use Policy

01Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who uses gbnox.com, a GBNOX product, or a GBNOX API — whether as a customer, an invited team member, or a client of an agency using our tools.

It forms part of the Terms of Service. Breaking it is a material breach of that agreement.

The list below is not exhaustive. If something is clearly abusive but is not written down here, it is still not allowed.

02Stay lawful

Do not use the Services to do, plan or facilitate anything unlawful. In particular, do not:

• Infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret or publicity rights;
• Trade in counterfeit, stolen or illegally imported goods, or use our tools to make them easier to sell;
• Breach sanctions, export controls or anti-money-laundering law;
• Engage in fraud, deceptive trade practice, or unfair competition;
• Violate consumer protection, advertising or product safety law in any market you sell into;
• Process personal data you have no lawful basis to process.

03Respect the platforms we build on

GBNOX products are API-first by design. We build on official marketplace and platform APIs, under the terms those platforms set. Your use has to stay inside those terms too.

Do not use the Services to:

• Scrape, crawl or harvest a platform in violation of its terms, robots directives or rate limits;
• Circumvent a CAPTCHA, bot-detection system, IP block or access control;
• Create or operate fake accounts, sock puppets, or accounts that misrepresent who is behind them;
• Manipulate rankings, reviews, ratings or search results through inauthentic activity;
• Exceed, evade or share the API quota assigned to your account.

04Do not attack the platform

Do not attempt to compromise the Services, our infrastructure, or another customer's data. Specifically, do not:

• Probe, scan or test the vulnerability of any system without our prior written authorisation;
• Breach or circumvent authentication, authorisation or tenant isolation;
• Access data, accounts or workspaces that are not yours;
• Introduce malware, ransomware, logic bombs or any other harmful code;
• Mount a denial-of-service attack, or generate load intended to degrade the Services;
• Reverse engineer the Services except where the law expressly permits it.

Security researchers are welcome. If you want to test in good faith, read our Security page first and get in touch through the contact form. Testing conducted within that policy is authorised and we will not pursue you for it.

05Content and conduct

Do not upload, generate, store or transmit content through the Services that:

• Sexually exploits or endangers a minor — we report this to the relevant authorities without exception;
• Depicts or incites terrorism, mass violence, or serious harm to people or animals;
• Harasses, threatens, defames or targets a person or group;
• Promotes hatred or discrimination on the basis of a protected characteristic;
• Constitutes spam, chain messaging, or unsolicited bulk commercial email;
• Impersonates GBNOX, another person, or another business.

06Responsible use of AI features

Some GBNOX features generate text, scores or recommendations using machine learning. When you use them:

• Review the output before publishing it. You are responsible for what you put in front of your customers.
• Do not present generated content as an authoritative claim about a product's safety, legality, health effects or regulatory status.
• Do not use outputs to make automated decisions about individuals that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
• Do not attempt to extract model weights, training data, or system prompts, or to bypass safety controls.
• Do not submit other people's personal data to AI features without a lawful basis and appropriate notice.

07Fair use of shared resources

Our infrastructure is shared. Use it in proportion to your plan.

• Do not automate the interface to sidestep API limits.
• Do not resell, sublicense or provide your account access to third parties, except as an agency plan expressly allows.
• Do not run bulk jobs designed to consume disproportionate capacity.
• Do not use the Services primarily as a general-purpose file store, proxy or CDN.

If your legitimate use is outgrowing your plan, talk to us. We would rather size a plan correctly than throttle you.

08How we enforce this policy

Our response is proportionate to the harm. Depending on severity we may:

1. Contact you and ask you to stop;
2. Rate-limit or disable the specific feature or integration involved;
3. Suspend the account, with notice where it is safe to give it;
4. Terminate the account under the Terms of Service;
5. Preserve evidence and report the matter to law enforcement or the affected platform.

For serious or ongoing harm — child safety, active attacks, imminent legal risk — we act first and explain afterwards.

Appeals

If you believe we got it wrong, reply to the enforcement notice or use the contact form. A human will review it, and we will tell you the outcome and the reasoning. We aim to respond within five business days.

09Reporting abuse

If you see a GBNOX account being used in breach of this policy, tell us through the contact form. Include what you observed, where, and when.

We investigate every credible report and do not retaliate against people who report in good faith.
