How we build

A few things we
don't compromise on.

A principle that costs nothing is a preference. Each of these costs us something specific, so we have written down what.

PRINCIPLE 01

API-first, always

We build on official marketplace APIs, never on scraping.

Scraping is a shortcut that eventually costs the customer their account. Every GBNOX integration runs on the platform's own API, inside its own rate limits, under its own terms. It is slower to build and it is the only version worth shipping.

What follows from it

  • Some data other tools show you, we will not have. We will say so rather than guess.
  • When a platform changes its API, we adapt instead of scrambling around a block.
  • Your marketplace account is never put at risk by using our product.

PRINCIPLE 02

Explainable by design

Every score traces back to a reason a human can read.

A number without a reason is a guess with better typography. Wherever GBNOX produces a score, a ranking or a recommendation, you can open it and see the inputs that produced it — and disagree with them.

What follows from it

  • No black-box scores, and no metric we cannot show the working for.
  • Model outputs are reviewed by you before they reach your customers.
  • We do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on people.

PRINCIPLE 03

Built for teams

Multi-tenant from the first line of code.

Agencies manage dozens of clients; in-house teams manage roles, approvals and handovers. Retrofitting that onto a single-user tool never works, so tenancy, roles and isolation went in before the first feature did.

What follows from it

  • Client data is isolated at the data-access layer, not by a filter someone might forget.
  • Roles, permissions and audit trails are part of the product, not an enterprise upsell.
  • Switching between clients does not mean switching accounts.

PRINCIPLE 04

Quiet until it works

We ship something real rather than announce something early.

There is a version of this company that has a launch date, a waitlist counter and a press release. We would rather have working software. What appears on this site as live is live; what is coming is labelled as coming.

What follows from it

  • No vapourware, no fake screenshots, no invented customer logos.
  • We publish our limitations — see the known gaps on our accessibility and security pages.
  • Dates move. We would rather tell you late than tell you wrong.
